Hotstar has been valued at about Rs 1,850 crore, according to latest regulatory filings. Run by Novi Digital Entertainment, Hotstar has about 100 million app downloads — ahead of Amazon Prime and Netflix, which have 50 million and 5 million app downloads respectively.
