Central Bureau of Investigation and Banking Fraud and Securities Cell sleuths conducted searches on Thursday and Friday in the city in connection with Rs 1,700 crore Punjab National Bank loan fraud case wherein three promoters a city-based telecom equipment manufacturing company, VMC Systems, are named as accused.
