The Narendra Modi government has attracted Rs 4,000 crore worth of investment from telecom gear makers such as Cisco, Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, Intel and Sterlite, inline with the goal to achieve a capital gain of $100 billion (about Rs 7 lakh crore) by 2022.
