The BSNL office in Visakhapatnam, a major landmark in the city, will soon be reduced to a shadow of itself. More than 60 per cent of employees of the public sector telecom company have opted for voluntary retirement scheme (VRS). As a result, the number of BSNL employees in Visakhapatnam district will come down to merely 350.
