Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) has contested the telecom department’s demand for Rs 15,019 crore in additional licence fee, interest and penalties for holding V-SAT and internet service provider (ISP) licences, and plans to take legal action against the notice, said company executives. GNFC considers itself unliable to pay any further dues.
