Market experts don’t expect the government to net more than Rs 40,000 crore due to financial constraints of telcos and high price of the 5G band as well as the 700 MHz band, which can also be used for 5G in future. DoT itself is currently pre-occupied with the AGR issue, including reconciliation of telco payments with its own calculations.
