The wide divergence between adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues assessed by Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea and those estimated by the telecom department has been triggered by factors such as key deductions disallowed by the government, differences in accounting treatment and duplication of demand items, analysts said.
