The UP government has reopened e-bid for procurement of 1.6 lakh tablet computers for primary and upper schools in the state. The tablets equipped with biometric scanners will be provided to school principals for keeping a tab on attendance of teachers and students, mid-day meal scheme and various other government mandated schemes.
