Imports of close to 230 models of mobile phones, laptops, notebooks, tablets, smartwatches and earphones from the likes of Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, LG, Oppo, Tecno, Lenovo, Acer, Dell, Toshiba and HP - all mainly made in China - have been delayed, pending approval from India’s quality control body for more than 20 days.
