Xiaomi has overtaken Apple to become the third biggest smartphone player in the global smartphone market, according to a report by research agency Gartner. As per the report, Xiaomi has moved ahead of Apple for the first time ever with sales of 44.4 million units compared to Apple’s sales of 40.5 million units in the third quarter of 2020.
