Last year, post clashes between the Indian and Chinese forces in Ladakh led to a policy change concerning the Chinese vendors. This led to the Chinese vendors reducing their workforce in India. There were reports that Chinese gear maker Huawei slashed its workforce by as much as 60-70% last year.
