Taking cognizance of a TOI report, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has slapped a fine of Rs2.25 crore on Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) for various violations. RJIL had dug trenches on tar as well as cement roads, though it only had permission for horizontal drilling, and also done inferior quality of restoration.
