Experts expect a fairly intense three-way fight — between India's largest telco Jio, second-ranked Airtel and new entrant Adani for 5G airwaves — particularly in the coveted, but expensive, 3.3-3.67 GHz band, also known as the C-band or mid-band. This could push the price of the band 10% higher than the base rate of Rs 317 crore a unit.
