The Centre is looking at three aspects that will constitute the new legislation–the national data governance framework, the new data protection bill and the new IT Act. One of the officials said that while one of the three aspects–the national data governance framework, which deals with regulating non-personal data--is almost ready with public consultation completed on its draft, the other two are now left to be finalised.
