With the current dispensation headed by Minister of Communications Ashwini Vaishnaw, BSNL has been asked to focus on the customer base which has remained stable despite the absence of a data network. It has a 9.92% market share. But, Vaishnaw believes that the telco could have at least 200 million 4G and 5G subscribers in the next two years.
