Initially, when Jio launched operations in 2016, it used SAP for BSS and later, Jio opted for Ericsson and Hewlett Packard for different parts of its OSS/BSS operations. Ericsson is managing the fulfilment suite for Jio in India. Now, Jio Platforms has designed and deployed a cloud-native platform for Jio's OSS/BSS functions. Airtel is using Amdocs AI-based automated operations to measure customer experience improvements in real time. On the other hand, about three years back, Vodafone Idea partnered with Optiva to move to a cloud-based charging system.
