“From the last two-three quarters just at Jio, we are generating almost 10% of global mobile traffic and this is when 5G is just starting. And if we can do that at 60% better power, and we are going to take this forward in our 5G dreams that how do we make sure that those watts per GB are not only significantly less, but are also green,” said Shyam Mardikar, chief technology officer (CTO) of Jio. He was speaking at ETTelecom’s third edition of Digital Telco Summit - 2022 on Friday.
