In India, a couple of recent developments have put the spotlight on super-apps. The first is Gautam Adani, head honcho of the Adani Group, who recently revealed his intentions to launch a super app, the `Ferrari of the digital world' app, in the next six months or so. Second is the launch of Tata Neu, an app by the Tata Group, bringing all their customer-facing products from Big Basket to Tata Play across different industry verticals under one app.
