In the previous hearing on January 6, the Kerala HC had refused to grant a stay on the NTO 3.0 while adjourning the matter. The promoter of a leading cable TV company said implementing NTO 3.0 will sound the death knell for cable and DTH companies which are already reeling under subscriber loss due to competition from over-the-top (OTT) and DD Free Dish, the free DTH platform from Prasar Bharati.
