VMware has a strong presence in verticals like governments, banks and telecommunication in India. It is currently working with Indian telecom operators to roll out new 5G services targeting verticals, helping monetise the high-speed broadband service. It is also helping them modernise their network by enabling them to disaggregate both the core and the RAN.
