“In case the test environment requires interactions with telecom consumers in a live network environment, then all exemptions (around subscriber verification, lawful interception, quality of service, remote access amongst others) should cease to be applicable and such testing will have to be done within the prevailing regulatory framework for telecommunication services,” Reliance Jio’s vice president Rakesh Gujral said at the open house.
