As per Jefferies, Vi spent around Rs 3,583 crore (or 8.4% of sales) in FY24 towards dealer commissions. It was much higher than Jio’s Rs 3,000-crore dealer commissions payout at 3% of sales in FY24, as per the global brokerage’s calculations. Airtel, though, was the biggest such spender in FY24, shelling out around Rs 6,000 crore (or 4% of sales) towards dealer commissions to maintain leadership on the ARPU front.
