The IT Ministry, last Friday, notified the Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance Amendment Rules (GG Rules), 2025 under the Aadhaar Act, which expanded the scope of availing voluntary Aadhaar authentication to private sector services such as e-commerce, travel, tourism, hospitality and health.
